Life After Turik

Life has been crazy lately. We did a fundraiser and walk for diabetes. We are taking classes to learn how to operate an insulin pump and a CGM device. Writing has sadly taken a back seat to these other adventures in my life. We also ran a fundraiser for a family that has a child fighting leukemia. It went well, but we are offering continued prayers for the boy and his family. Now I am getting back into my writing!!!!!

As I am writing the FINAL book in the Turik Saga, I started thinking about what I will be doing next. I have chosen to stay in the fantasy genre. I will be writing about a modern world that has dragons. The main character is finishing high school and heading off to college. She learns she has abilities she has never known were possible.

I have a basic outline for this story, and as the story develops I will leave more information. The cover for this book is finished. I will post the artwork before the new year.

Raising Money

In the month of October I will be donating 50% of all profits to JDRF to help find a cure for diabetes. If any of my books reach a certain spot in the amazon top sellers ranks, I will add to that donation. If any of my books reaches #1, I will donate an addition $5,000.

Turik's final adventure (for now) will be coming to an end. The fifth book will be the last in the series and should be released within 12-15 months from now. I will be taking a break from Turik's world, but will continue to write fantasy novels.

I have spend five years in Zymaria. It is bittersweet that my time is coming to an end. I am excited to publish the conclusion of the series and spend some time writing in a new world, but I will miss the characters and their adventures.

Book V's title will probably be Turik and the God of Darkness. Turik will have to fight Kal'Thazar. His decisions will determine the fate of the world.

This year has been a bit crazy. There were some family health issues and now that they are under control, I am back to writing. To those of you who have been waiting for book IV, I apologize for the late release. The book is going through one stage of editing and will be posted this summer. Book V is already being written.

In the month of JUNE (all month), I will be donating 50% of my profits to The Children's Miracle Network. We did not work with them directly, but worked with one of the groups with which they work. It was an amazing experience. They were so helpful and supportive. This is my way of giving back. If you purchase a book in the month of June, I will donate a dollar to the People's Pay for Play. That money will go to the Children's Miracle Network.

Even if you don't purchase my books, please consider donating to the People's Pay for Play or the Children's Miracle Network.

They did not sponsor this message or fundraiser. It is just my attempt to help them raise money.
